Introducing Rapid Kindness Network – Hobart
We’re excited to share something growing in our community.
Rapid Kindness Network is a simple idea with a powerful heart: when someone in Hobart has an urgent need, we try to respond quickly, practically, and with care.
This might look like:
- food support through local connections
- small essential item drop-offs
- connecting people to services or volunteers
- or simply making sure someone doesn’t feel alone in a hard moment
This work is closely connected with friends and community around FNB Hobart (Food Not Bombs Hobart) and others who care about practical compassion in action.
It’s not a big organisation. It’s people helping people.
We’re still building it as we go — learning, adapting, and finding sustainable ways to support each other without burnout or waste. If you’d like to be involved, whether by volunteering, donating, or simply staying connected, we’d love to hear from you.
More than anything, this is about rapid response to real human need… with dignity, respect, and kindness at the centre.
If you know someone in Hobart who needs help, or you want to be part of the network, please reach out.
Together we can make small moments of relief happen quickly — when they matter most.

If you want, I can also make a shorter “shareable Facebook version” or a more punchy slogan-style intro for Instagram.
