Impact and Transparency
Food Not Bombs Hobart is committed to openness, accountability, and community impact.
Every donation helps us rescue food that would otherwise go to waste, share meals and groceries with people experiencing hardship, support volunteers, and strengthen community connections.
We believe donors and supporters should be able to see how resources are used. That’s why we publish information about:
• Funds received and how they are spent
• Food rescued and redistributed
• Meals and grocery packs shared
• Volunteer participation and community activities
• Current projects and future goals
As a volunteer-run community initiative, we aim to keep administration costs low and direct as many resources as possible toward helping people and reducing food waste.
We welcome questions, feedback, and suggestions from our community. Together, we can build a more caring, sustainable, and connected Hobart.
Transparency isn’t just about numbers—it’s about trust, relationships, and showing the real impact that community action can achieve.
