Need Help?

If you’re doing it tough, you’re welcome here.

Food Not Bombs Hobart provides free food, basic supplies, and practical support to people experiencing hardship. Whether you’re sleeping rough, living in temporary accommodation, struggling to make ends meet, or simply need a hand this week, you are welcome to connect with us.

What We Can Offer

Depending on available donations and volunteer capacity, we may be able to assist with:

  • Freshly prepared meals
  • Groceries and food hampers
  • Pete’s Packs and basic camping supplies
  • Blankets and warm clothing
  • Toiletries and hygiene items
  • Information about other support services
  • A friendly conversation and community connection

All assistance is provided free of charge.

No Judgement. No Complicated Process.

We understand that everyone faces challenges at different times in life.

You do not need to prove that you are “homeless enough” or “struggling enough” to speak with us. If you need support, reach out. We’ll do our best to help or connect you with someone who can.

Community Meals

Our community meals are open to everyone. Come along, share a meal, meet people, and be part of the community.

Food Not Bombs Hobart serves free community meals each Saturday afternoon in Hobart’s CBD. (hobartcity.com.au)
